Privacy Policy

Swiss Brix ("we", "us") operates the website at swissbrix.com and the connected social channels on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect almost nothing, never sell anything, and only use what's needed to run the newsletter and the site.

1. Data we collect

• Newsletter email address — only if you choose to subscribe via the form on swissbrix.com/news. Storage and delivery are handled by Resend.
• Standard server logs — when you visit swissbrix.com, our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard request information (IP address, user agent, time of visit) for security and uptime purposes. We do not query or analyze these logs ourselves.
• No cookies are set by Swiss Brix. Embedded third-party content (e.g. YouTube video previews) may set their own cookies governed by their respective policies.
• No tracking pixels or analytics scripts are loaded on swissbrix.com.

2. How we use that data

• Email addresses are used solely to deliver the weekly Swiss Brix newsletter. We do not share, rent, or sell them.
• Server logs are retained by Netlify under their standard policy and are not accessed by us in normal operation.

3. Data sources we read from

Swiss Brix produces investment analysis using publicly available LEGO market data. We read from:

• Brickset — set catalog data (pieces, theme, year, official imagery)
• BrickEconomy — pricing, market values, and forecasts
• LEGO.com — official retail availability and product imagery

None of these sources receive any personal information about you when we query them.

4. Affiliate links

Some outbound links on swissbrix.com (e.g. to LEGO.com, Amazon, BrickLink) are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The affiliate networks we use are Awin and Amazon Partnernet. These networks may set tracking cookies on the destination site (not on swissbrix.com).

5. Social media platforms

Swiss Brix publishes daily Shorts to its own owned accounts on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. These uploads are produced from public market data and do not contain any personal information about visitors of swissbrix.com or newsletter subscribers. Each platform handles its own data collection from viewers under its own privacy terms — we have no access to and do not collect viewer data on those platforms beyond aggregate stats provided by their respective dashboards.

6. Your rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
• Request deletion of your email from our list by contacting us at the email address below. We will action this within 30 days.
• Request a copy of any data we hold about you by writing to the contact below.

7. Data retention

Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Server logs are retained by Netlify per their default schedule (typically 30–90 days).

8. Children

Swiss Brix is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU / EEA / Switzerland under GDPR / nFADP). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has subscribed to the newsletter, please contact us and we will remove the subscription.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter and reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
